CaterQuick

Privacy policy

Last updated 18 October 2026

Draft for review before launch. Check the business details and wording with a solicitor.

This explains what CaterQuick does with information you give us. CaterQuick is the controller of that information. Legal name, address and ICO registration number to add.

What we collect

  • Event details: occasion, date, numbers, area, venue type, food and service preferences, budget.
  • Dietary needs as numbers, and any allergies you choose to tell us about. We ask you not to name guests.
  • Your name, email address and, if you give it, your phone number.
  • If you're a caterer: your business details and the checks you tell us about.

Why we use it

  • To find caterers for your event and send you their quotes. You ask us to do this when you send a request.
  • To tell caterers about allergies so they can say whether they can cater for them safely.
  • To reply to you and keep a record of requests and bookings.

Who we share it with

Caterers we ask to quote see your event details, dietary numbers and allergies, but not your name or contact details. When you book, that caterer gets your name and contact details so they can arrange the day. We send email through Resend, and the site is hosted in the UK. We don't sell your information or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Requests that don't lead to a booking are deleted after 12 months. Booking records are kept for six years for accounting.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to how we use it. Email info@psdigitalworx.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
