15 to 80 guests
Birthdays, anniversaries, christenings and house-warmings. Usually a buffet dropped off and laid out, or a hog roast or BBQ in the garden.
Worth mentioning: Say whether there's a table to lay out on and whether you'll want things cleared away.
8 to 200
Working lunches, training days, client visits and the Christmas do. Sandwich platters on time, labelled, with the vegetarian and vegan food kept apart.
Worth mentioning: Give a delivery time and a contact on the day. Labelled platters are standard; ask if you need individual boxes.
40 to 200
Evening buffets, wedding breakfasts and the food for the night before. Caterers who can staff it and bring the crockery.
Worth mentioning: Book early for summer Saturdays. Mention whether the venue has a kitchen and any rules on outside caterers.
20 to 120
Often needed at short notice. Say when and where, and we'll look for caterers who can do it in the time you have.
Worth mentioning: Say if it's within a week. Some caterers can turn a buffet round in a day or two.
